About Me
Trayee Sinha started her journey in education 25 years back as a primary educator in a private school in Kolkata. As a young educator she had limited skill sets and exposure however had immense curiosity and she was deeply observant. She always used creative techniques and believed in her ability to connect to each learner.
She felt an urge of starting her own house of children while she was undergoing Teacher’s Training Diploma under Montessori Method. She moved as a directress in a Montessori House in Kolkata to gain a deeper understanding of the Early Childhood Education. The Montessori house soon went for a collaboration with a corporate chain of preschools and Ms. Sinha was selected as a trainer for facilitators in the Eastern Zone in India. Later, she moved to the corporate office in Mumbai as the National coordinator for the organization. Since then, she got associated with premier education brands in early years and gathered gamut of experience as a Curriculum developer, Trainer, Mentor, and Early years Education Analyst.
As she moved to Southern India, her journey with K12 begun. She entered education leadership training, mentoring the school and college leaders, manoeuvring and guiding in strategic decision making, developing brown field projects and coaching potential leaders. Her association with Government aided ventures gave her insight of the challenges prevailing in the society not just in economy but also in education.
Her heart always was towards the educators who are the changemakers in the field of education. She found many educators enter this journey but are often lost as they are unsure of what they are doing. Frequently, they move out in the absence of proper guidance, motivation, and clear goals. Being an educator needs the right attitude, skillsets and exposure. Educators today feel overwhelmed as on many occasions they are unable to keep up with the pace of change or at times they unknowingly come to this profession thinking it is easy. As a certified coach she started focusing on the mindset building of the educators and education leaders to make education progressive, meaningful and empowering.
She, in her tenure as an education professional has trained thousands of educators and more that hundred education leaders towards an empowering journey.
Her intention to reimagine education system was nudging her from within and the intention became the endeavour in the form of Prayaas- Enrich, Empower, Evolve.
She believes that everything begins with an intention and if the intention is nurtured and nourished, it becomes the endeavour. Prayaas today works closely with Education leaders through Mentoring, Coaching and Training. Prayaas trains educators towards skill development and mindset building. Prayaas supports parents in their journey of parenting.
